A solo San Juan Puerto Rico portrait session is a good way to mark something. A vacation you saved up for, a birthday, a maternity shoot, or just a stretch of time on the island you want to remember properly. You don't need a reason beyond wanting good photos of yourself for once.
Most people tell me they feel awkward in front of a camera. That's normal, and it's my job, not yours. I'll talk you through where to put your hands and which way to turn, and after about ten minutes you'll stop thinking about it. The photos from the second half of a session are almost always the good ones.
There's a lot to work with here. The rainforest, the beaches, the cobblestone streets of Old San Juan. Each one gives you a different kind of photo, and the light on this island does most of the work for both of us. Your solo San Juan Puerto Rico portraits can be posed or candid or somewhere in between. I'll ask what you're comfortable with before we start, and if something isn't working we'll move on and try something else.
